About Erwin
Erwin real estate is within Unicoi County, Tennessee. It is the county seat and has an estimated population of 5,610. The town is a part of the Johnson City Metropolitan Statistical Area and as such a part of the Tri-Cities. One of the attractions of Erwin is the Appalachian Trail which passes nearby. This national scenic trail in the eastern U.S. is 2,184 miles long and passes through 14 states. A large part of the trail is wilderness with portions that cross through towns, rivers and roads. As home to thousands of animals and plants, which includes many that are endangered and rare, the trail is a learning as well as enjoyable experience. The location of Erwin – with Johnson City being an economic hub for the area – provides residents with a number of opportunities.
